Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Modern Docs, including the web application, agent integrations, public pages, and related services.
1. Using Modern Docs
You must be able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account, the people you invite, and the agent clients you connect.
2. Workspaces and access
Workspace owners and administrators control membership and document access. You must only invite people, connect agents, or publish content when you have the right to do so. Access changes may take effect immediately.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content and assets you add. You give Modern Docs permission to store, process, render, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
4. AI agents
Agent output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing agent-created content and actions before relying on, sharing, or publishing them. Modern Docs limits agents to the connected user's current permissions but does not guarantee the quality of agent output.
5. Sharing and publishing
You choose who can view, comment on, edit, or share a document. Public links and published pages may be accessible outside your workspace. Check the selected access and revision before sharing sensitive or public material.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Modern Docs to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass security, abuse the service, or publish content you do not have permission to use. We may restrict activity that threatens users or the service.
7. Paid plans
Prices, document limits, and included features are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew until canceled and remain subject to the billing terms shown during checkout and in your billing portal.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Modern Docs reliable, but the service may change, pause, or experience interruptions. We may add, remove, or update features and limits as the product develops.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Content retention after closure follows our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Modern Docs is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product or law changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
